Bamboo, the alternative rock band who published hits such as "Noypi" and "Hallelujah", have decided to call it quits after eight long years.
KC Montero together with his partner Kat Alano was the first to out the info via Twitter. In his tweet was, "just announced by Kat on the show…Bamboo has officially split.” Montero was airing "The KC Show with Kat" at Wave 89.1 FM when the news broke out.
The band's split-up comes after a myriad of tours and concerts on key cities here in the Philippines. Why the band disbanded after such a fruitful year still remains a mystery. Or so it seems. Kat Alano may know the real reason behind the Bamboo disbandment. She chose not to disclose the real reason saying "I'm sure the band will tell their side soon enough =)" on her Twitter account.
The rock band Bamboo is composed of Bamboo Mañalac, Ira Cruz, Nathan Azarcon and Vic Mercado and has won lots of awards since their inception from 2002.
