AyosDito.ph Expands Social Media Presence With iBall Event

AyosDito.ph, one of the major players in the online buying and selling industry, held the first AyosDito.ph iBall at CoWo Asia in Ortigas. The aim of the party was not only to let bloggers of different niches enjoy the festivities, but to expand the said website's social media reach.

The night was full of contests, prizes, people fooling around, and celebrities. Two such celebrities present during the iBall were DJ Tony Toni of Magic 89.9 and Solenn Heusaff of Survivor.

Jon Santico, GM of 701 Search Inc., pictured above, said “Ayos Dito iBall is a blogger event that celebrates the fun and unique Filipino lifestyle that is reflective of how people buy and sell online. Buying and selling online with AyosDito.ph is free, easy and hassle-free, just how we Pinoys like it.”

As I mentioned at the event, we all know that Sulit.com.ph is the number one online buying and selling site in the Philippines for the time being. The former is synonymous with online shopping, but with some time and market experience, AyosDito.ph would surely be a very tough competitor. In fairness to them, AyosDito.ph was awarded the 2011 No. 1 Classified Ads website by Digital Filipino Search Profile Index.

What's enjoyable about AyosDito.ph is its user-friendly features, such as enabling you to search for items on your geographic location at the get-go. Sadly, the site is heavily integrated with Facebook, which of course turns off potential non-Facebook users.

Another point of interest is AyosDito.ph's budding user base. Less users, less ads, less visitors, less transactions. Hopefully their back end would continue on improving the site's presence and search algorithm. That would surely hook a lot of users in.

Event-wise, AyosDito.ph threw a great party. Food and drinks were top-rate. The dessert was unbelievable too. Dare I say an iBall 2? Unfortunately, one of the brand ambassadors, namely John Lloyd Cruz, wasn't present at the event. Then again, who would need that guy if there's a New iPad up for grabs?

So if you got something to buy or sell, and are tired of the common online marketplace, try posting your advertisements at AyosDito.ph. Who knows, you might just get the best bargain for that pre-loved iPhone 3G you're so looking forward to buy.

'Till my next installment.

  1. Hi TJ,

Thank you for writing a post about AyosDito.ph. We're really glad you enjoyed the www.AyosDito.ph I-ball (especially the food- we think that was the best part of the event ) and for taking the time to know the site more.
We appreciate your suggestions on improving our search algorithm and possibly another I-ball soon.

Just wanted to share with you though, Facebook integration with the site is optional.
Finding great deals per region, or posting a Free ad can be done without logging into Facebook. We don't require creating profiles for the site. We just need the ad poster's name, contact information and a valid email address, so we can let them know we've posted the ad.

Thanks again and we hope you keep the suggestions coming.
