Mall sales are usually the time when people from all walks of life converge into one big lump and try to buy everything off. It's also where people have great finds and such that totally makes them happy.
We, along with bloggers of different fields, were selected to take part in promoting SM North EDSA's Great Northern Sale. Our task: Discover a great find with a set amount in our respective day assignments.
Searching for a great find inside the mall is difficult at best: People were everywhere, stalls littered the walkways, and almost everything is on sale. Fortunately our gift cheque were also usable at the SM Department Store so that made us save a lot of search time.
Fun fact: SM North EDSA is the third largest mall in the world, only bested by the New South China Mall and the Golden Resources Mall in China.
We had a couple of choices at this point: A Transformers computer mouse (from P1,800 to P499), a belt (from P899 to P499), a wallet (from P750 to P300), and three tees (from P299 each to P150 each). Ultimately we decided to go for the three shirts from Tee Culture that cost us only P450. I mean, imagine that. We spent P450 on three cool shirts without going through the pain of traveling to far-flung places in Manila and without going over the budget. Definitely a great find.
Sans the army of bargain-hunters and curious cats inside SM North EDSA, participating in the sale and looking for a great find is well worth the trouble.
The Great Northern Sale at SM North EDSA runs until tomorrow, July 15, 2012. Plenty of items at 50% off. Do check it out if you have the time.
'Till my next installment.
