Apple recently announced the iPhone 5 last September 12, 2012 at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco, much to the anticipation of everyone. And although it is arguable if it didn't disappoint or not, it's a very welcomed smartphone, so welcomed in fact that current stocks sold out in just 24 hours.

The Apple iPhone 5 specifications-wise isn't a revolutionary phone (for the most part it was already leaked a few weeks prior the announcement). It sports features that existing smartphones already have, if not miles away from it. One thing it does have is its legendary name: iPhone. Apple iPhone 5 Availability and Price in the Philippines*

The Apple iPhone 5 has just been made available in the US yet stocks ran out in just about 24 hours. We're predicting the announcement of the iPhone 5 here in the Philippines around early October, initially being only available at Globe and SMART—until the arrival of gray-market units.

We're also estimating the local price of the iPhone 5 on contract to be around P3,500.00 at the top-tier bundle. Likewise, no contract iPhone 5's can set you back up to P60,000.00 on gray-market units and P45,000.00 on local carriers.
