Cherry Mobile Outs Titan and Flare, Cheap Androids

Cherry Mobile recently gathered distributors and the press for their biggest happening of the year, the Flare Up. Held at One Esplanade at the SM Mall of Asia complex  in Pasay City, Cherry Mobile's Flare Up event were full of revelry, and of course, new smartphones—the Cherry Mobile W500 Titan and the Cherry Mobile Flare.

Hosting the event were celebrities such as Bianca Gonzales and Nina, while Cherry Mobile endorsers Kim Chiu and Anne Curtis did recorded congratulatory remarks regarding the success of the company.

The main attraction of the event were the launch of the Cherry Mobile W500 Titan and the Cherry Mobile Flare, both Android ICS dual-core smartphones selling at very attractive prices.

The Cherry Mobile W500 Titan is a 5-inch, 1GHz dual-core Android ICS device selling at PHP 6,499.00, while the Cherry Mobile Flare sports a 4-inch, 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, also on ICS for only PHP 3,999.00.

Mobile enthusiasts and tech mavens were nonetheless delighted—surprised even—with Cherry Mobile's latest batch of smartphones. With the Flare, the local company holds the title of the nation's cheapest smartphone while being powerful at the same time.

Cherry Mobile also showcased the latest additions to their product line, such as the Superion Plus and Tornado tablets pictured above, as well as their entry level Android phones the W100 and the Candy TV.

In light of the product launch, Cherry Mobile also teamed up with Opera Mini to bring fast and smooth mobile web browsing to its consumers. Both the Titan and the Flare are preinstalled with the Opera Mini 7.5 browser which makes them very capable internet-browsing devices.
