Fujifilm Announces X Series, Cool Designs for Premium Market

Fujifilm Philippines, in cooperation with Nuffnang Philippines, recently announced the newest members of their X Series line of premium cameras, which were introduced as the "cameras of the future." The launch, which were attended by international and local Fujifilm staffers, showcased Fujifilm's X-E1 and XF1. They also made room for last year's releases, namely the X100, the X10, and the X-Pro1.

The Fujifilm X-E1 sports premium configurations with a classic camera look. Available in black/silver and black/black schemes, this camera is primed for the adventurer looking for the best moments to preserve in time. It goes for as low as PHP 42,900.00 (body only. PHP 64,950.00 with kit lens).

The Fujifilm XF1 on the other hand banks on its premium compactdesign and top-notch image quality to reach a wider consumer base. It sports a perfectly matched wide-angle f/1.8 FUJINON lens with a manual 4x optical zoom, a 2/3-inch EXR-CMOS sensor, and an EXR processor. It comes with built-in advanced filters too, for on the spot editing of photos.

"Fujifilm is fully aware of the needs of the domestic market and I think this is critical of  a multi-national company entering into this market. We see the Philippines as a strategic market, we have vast product offers for both consumer and industrial use. In fact the company has invested in a lens manufacturing facility in Carmelray, Laguna, and it will be operational early next year," said Fujifilm Philippines President Takashi Sasaki.
