Alcatel Philippines Slashes Android Prices By Up To 50%

Alcatel Philippines recently announced a price slash on their One Touch Android smartphones, bringing their prices down by up to fifty percent. These lower prices seem to be permanent and will cover most of their Android devices.

The new prices for selected Alcatel Android smartphones are the following:

Alcatel One Touch 997D Explore - P9,990 (formerly P11,990, save 17%)
Alcatel One Touch 993D Insight - P8,590 (formerly P9,490, save 10%)
Alcatel One Touch 985N Blaze - P4,990 (formerly P9,990, save 50%)
Alcatel One Touch 918N Glory X - P4,490 (formerly P8,999, save 50%)
Alcatel One Touch 918N Glory - P4,390 (formerly P7,990, save 45%)

Alcatel Philippines' Android prices much to our disappointment will not go toe-to-toe with local mobile prices anytime soon because of its more dependable build and quality. This price slash may be the result of just that, or maybe Alcatel is making room for the arrival of the Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra or the One Touch Scribe HD. Who knows? Personally I'd love to own the Idol Ultra.
