Huawei Ascend W1 Arrives at Globe, Available at Plan 499

The Ascend W1, Huawei's first Windows Phone 8 smartphone, recently arrived at the Philippines' second-largest telco Globe Telecom.

The Huawei Ascend W1 is free at Globe's MySuperPlan Plan 499. Plan 499 gives subscribers twice the value of their money; P900 worth of credits can be used in a combination of calls, texts, or data services.

Launched last April 2013, the Ascend W1 is the Chinese company's first foray to the Windows Phone 8 scene. The Huawei Ascend W1 sports a 4-inch IPS display, a dual-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8230 processor, an Adreno 305 GPU, a 5-megapixel camera, and a 1950mAh battery.
