Globe Users Rejoice: Rewards Points Double Value this Weekend

Need to unwind and sit back at fastfood chains, coffees shops, and cinemas without actually spending money? Here's the solution to your problem. Starting today, Globe Telecom's Rewards Points program is going to double in value when used in selected partner establishments in the metro. The move follows as the telco continues to promote its value-added service to its subscribers. Now your 1 Reward Points is equal to P2.00!

Related: What is Globe Rewards?

Here's a quick example: You have 250 Globe Rewards points in your prepaid SIM and you want to watch a movie with your girlfriend. Ayala Cinemas accepts Rewards points, but the movie you want to watch costs P240 a ticket. Fortunately there's a double value promo, so your Rewards points become good for P500 (250 Rewards x 2 = P500 value) allowing you to finally buy two tickets amounting to P480. Would you look at that, you still have 10 points remaining after the movie! ( P500 - P480 = 20 / 2 = 10 points).
