Kata M2 Now Available for P6,999

Local mobile brand Kata has formally made available their newest smartphone - the Kata M2. The device sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS OGS display, a MT6582 1.3GHz quad-core processor, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 1GB RAM + 16GB internal storage combo, and a 2300mAh battery. What sets the Kata M2 from all other previous Kata devices is the relatively low launch price, which is only P6,999 (SRP). For reference, the Kata i3 started at P7,999, while the limitedly-stocked Kata M1 sold for P9,999.

Kata M2 Quad-Core Smartphone, Specs, Price

The above aside, the Kata M2 bears standard fare specifications, or the lack thereof, the most noticeable of which are the lack of USB OTG support. Regardless, it's a pretty usable device, especially if you're after a huge HD display real-estate and a pretty decent smartphone camera.
