Starmobile Up Max Announced, 5000mAh Battery and Digital TV in Tow

Local smartphone company announced on their blog the Starmobile Up Max, a 5000mAh battery-equipped monster that also doubles as a digital TV. Yes folks, this thing comes built-in with a DTV tuner, which means it can absorb crystal clear DTV frequencies and play them for free (as of this moment, there are 10 free channels with digital frequency, including ABS-CBN, GMA, and TV5). And you can do all these and more with the Starmobile Up Max even without a SIM card, WiFi, or data plan connection. How about that for true on-the-go viewing?

Moving forwad to the specs side, the Starmobile Up Max also features a 5-inch HD IPS display with Asahi Dragontrail, a 1.3GHz MT6582 quad-core processor, a 13-megapixel Sony IMX 135 Exmor RS rear camera, 1GB of RAM, a 16GB internal storage, and of course features the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. Did we mention the 5000mAh battery can last you up to 10 hours of continuous viewing?

The Starmobile Up Max will be available nationwide next week on June 7, 2015 for P7,490. Also available are its other DTV siblings, the Starmobile Knight Vision and the Starmobile Up Vision for P9,990 and P5,990 respectively.
