Vivo Philippines discreetly announced in the Philippines one of their budget cameraphone offerings, the Vivo Y53. An ordinary Filipino can now, for P6,990, take very competitive digital photos and selfies of themselves, thanks to the device's Ultra HD mode (from the 8MP rear camera), and also to the f/2.2 aperture of its 5MP front-facing camera and smart screen flash.

Performance-wise, the Vivo Y53 is no pushover. With its Snapdragon 425 chipset and its 2GB RAM, you'll surely be able to enjoy good performance, especially so since the device is sporting an entry-level display resolution (qHD). You'll also be able to expand its onboard 16GB storage up to 256GB, ensuring you'll have lots of storage to store those photos.

The Vivo Y53 is now available at Vivo partner outlets and comes in gray or gold.
