ASUS VivoBook E12 and E402 Launched, Lightweight Affordable Laptops Starting at PHP 13,995

ASUS once again made it more difficult - or easier, depending on how you're going to look at it - to select entry level notebooks, with their announcement of the VivoBook E12 and the VivoBook E402.


The VivoBook E12 and E402 both look elegant, boasting a premium air even with a lightweight plastic body, the only difference being a color scheme and some specs differences (the more powerful model being the E402)

VivoBook E12 (E203NAH)

The most affordable among the bunch, the ASUS VivoBook E12 features an 11.6-inch display, an Intel Celeron N3350 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 500GB storage drive. It's designed to get you across your day with just the most basic of specifications.


The device has Windows 10 pre-loaded, and can provide you with 10 hours of continuous usage. It's also among the thinnest 11.6-inch laptops available, smaller than an A4 paper and weighing only 980 grams.

The VivoBook E12 is available in Star Grey, Petal Pink and Pearl White.

VivoBook E402

The ASUS VivoBook E402 on the other hand is a slightly bigger device measuring with a 14-inch display. It comes in two variants: An Intel Celeron N4200 model with 500GB of storage, and an Intel Celeron N3450 model, with 32GB of storage. Both models come with 4GB of RAM. It's sufficient to be your daily workhorse but with a larger screen.


Design-wise, it looks closely similar to the E12, but with a different color scheme.
