10th Anniversary 9/11, Falling Man, Pictures and Videos

September 11, 2001 was the day when 19 Al-Qaeda terrorists loaded four passenger jets, two of which hit the ever-pictured Twin Towers of the US World Trade Center. The third passenger jet hit the Pentagon and the fourth crash-landed in a field in Pennysylvania. Almost 3,000 people died in the attacks, including more than 400 police officers and firefighters, and this all happened in one day.

Today marks the 10th anniversary of 9/11, and it will forever remain etched as one of the darkest periods in American history.

The Falling Man

The Falling Man is probably one of the most disturbing photographs took in 9/11. It shows of a man jumping off of the World Trade Center, choosing to risk it all by jumping instead of dying by suffocation. Nobody can blame this man, tentatively identified as Jonathan Briley, a 43-year-old employee of the Windows on the World restaurant.

Aside from Jonathan Briley, at least 199 other people plunged to their deaths on 9/11.

9/11 Conspiracies

There have been lots of conpiracies that have surfaced with regards to 9/11, the most prominent of which was the conspiracy that George Bush's knew what would happen and allowed the attacks that killed almost 3,000 people to justify what he would do to Afghanistan and consequently Iraq.

If you want to look for more conspiracies, you can google a lot of it quite easily.
